DEVELOPMENTAL NEEDS MEETING STRATEGY (DNMS)

Perhaps you have noticed when someone you know “acts like a two-year-old.” This occurs because unresolved childhood experiences can easily trigger us in the present, making us feel and act like that unhappy child again.
DNMS offers a way to strengthen our most adult self. It is a gentle therapy and works particularly to heal the dysfunctional ways we learned to attach to other people. When we are no longer hijacked by needy child parts, we can relate to others in a mutually satisfying way.
DNMS has been helpful treating:
- depression and anxiety
- panic disorder
- social phobias
- substance abuse
- complex PTSD
- relationship problems
- obsessions/compulsions
- sexual abuse
- eating disorders
- dissociative disorders
- borderline personality disorder
- sexual addiction
- complicated grief
